The City of Louisville is seeking a Revenue & Tax Manager to join our Finance Department. This is a highly responsible management level position responsible for administering the City of Louisville’s tax compliance program and tax revenues. This position oversees the Division that serves as the City’s primary point of contact with businesses and vendors in determining the requirements for issuance of sales tax and business licenses and for answering questions on City Tax code interpretation. The position is responsible for all renewals of sales tax and business licenses. Oversees, the tax compliance program for the city which includes taxpayer audits, administering sales and use tax returns, notifying businesses on incorrect returns, pursuing delinquent and non-filing businesses and maintaining all vendor files. Conducts Taxpayer Assistance Seminars and outreach education efforts. Prepares and monitors budget for the division. Work is performed with considerable independence within established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. The position reports to the Director of Finance and supervises the tax department with 3 direct reports.
Hiring Range: $92,456 to $108,659
Salary Range: $92,456 to $124,841
