Assistant City Manager

The City of Fruita is looking for an Assistant City Manager to join the City Manager’s Office and support the operations of the organization. Under the general direction of the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager provides leadership, strategic direction, and supervision to the organization and assigned departments. This position serves as a liaison and partner on City-wide issues, manages and oversees complex projects and policy matters, conducts
research and analysis, and assists the day-to-day operations of the organization to fulfill the goals and objectives of the City Council. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the organization and the City Manager.

Pay for the Assistant City Manager position is dependent upon qualifications, but the expected hiring range is $113,604 – $142,005. annually. The City provides a competitive benefits package.
