The City of Herington, Kansas, is seeking a motivated, ethical, and community-oriented professional to serve as
its next City Manager. Herington is committed to maintaining strong municipal services, supporting economic
growth, and fostering a collaborative and engaged community. The City Manager serves as the chief
administrative officer and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of City government, implementation of
policies established by the governing body, and leadership of City staff.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a city manager/administrator or relevant local
government experience.• Master’s degree in public administration or related field preferred
• Relevant professional experience may substitute for educational requirements

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications, with a competitive benefits
