The City of Kenmore is seeking a City Manager for this vibrant waterfront community of 24,350 located
on the shores of Lake Washington 25 minutes northeast of Seattle. Kenmore has a prime location
between the major cities of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Everett and is known for its mix of urban
amenities and natural beauty, and family-friendly atmosphere within the coveted Northshore School
District.

THE CITY OF KENMORE
Incorporated in 1998, the City of Kenmore operates under the Council-Manager form of government
with seven Councilmembers elected at large to staggered four-year terms. The City serves a population
of 24,350 across 6 square miles with a 2025-2026 budget of $111 million and a team of 64 FTEs across
functions that include City Manager’s Office, Community Development, Finance & Administration,
Development Services, Engineering, Public Works Operations, and Environmental Services.

THE CITY MANAGER
The City Manager provides management direction of all City departments and activities in accordance
with City Council policies and direction, administrative support to the City Council, and special project
management. In addition, the City Manager and Deputy City Manager represent the City within the
community and on regional, state and federal issues to advance Kenmore's priorities and interests.
