The Position
Parker Water & Sanitation District (PWSD) is seeking an experienced and collaborative financial executive

identifying coaching opportunities, and aligning staff priorities with organizational goals.
The Chief Financial Officer is excited by the opportunity to provide strategic financial leadership across
the organization, acting as a trusted partner in shaping and executing PWSD’s financial strategy. The CFO
is a seasoned and principled leader who excels at navigating complexity with strategic foresight and
operational clarity. With a deep commitment to public service, they work in partnership to ensure the long-
term financial sustainability and resiliency of the organization.
The CFO is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Their leadership style is direct yet
thoughtful, bringing tough issues to light quickly and responsibly while keeping the best interests of the
ratepayer and the organization at the forefront of decision making. With strong interpersonal skills, the
CFO works effectively across disciplines, bringing people together to build consensus, drive performance,
and sustain a culture rooted in values, responsibility, and the collective good. They build trust through
transparency, consistency, and authentic engagement, communicating financial information clearly at all
levels of the organization. The successful candidate works to build a responsive and strategically
collaborative department that aligns financial operations with organizational goals.
